Parties and Attorneys

How do I find the parties in a case? The attorneys?

It’s often valuable to know who the co-litigants are and the attorneys representing them. You can search for them or you can find their info on the Rulings, Dockets, and Documents pages.

Need some helpful search examples?

Rulings Tab

If your search is in California and you are looking through the Rulings tab, once you click on a ruling, if available, you will see the Parties column on the right hand side.

You can directly click on the party’s name to be taken to a page of results in which they are also a party.

You can also click on the Track This Party button next to each parties’ information to set an Alert.

Dockets Tab

If you are looking through the Dockets tab, after you click on a docket, there will be a Parties section located right underneath the Case Details.

You can click directly on the party to be taken to a search results page containing Rulings [in CA only], Dockets, and Documents related to cases in which they are a party.

If you want to set an alert, you just have to click on the green bell icon next to the parties’ information.

Documents Tab

If you are looking through the Documents tab, after you click on a document, if available, there will be a Parties column on the right hand side.

You can directly click on the party’s name to be taken to a page of results in which they are also a party.

You can also click on the Track Party button next to each parties’ information to set an Alert.
